Voice Server®

The LZT Voice Server® is an Enterprise 2.0, open standard, voice over IP (VOIP), telephony solution that provides full featured services to organizations both large and small. It specifically addresses the need to simplify business communications and deliver improved streamlined functionality across an entire enterprise.

The LZT Voice Server® is a powerful business tool that will increase productivity, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance your organisation’s image whilst keeping long term costs under control.

The LZT Voice Server® delivers an unprecedented level of functionality and performance for VOIP PABX telephony services and makes use of your existing IP network structure taking advantage of numerous new capabilities. The LZT Voice Server® is engineered with high quality components and incorporates the comprehensively featured robust industry leading Asterisk® open source software platform.

The LZT Voice Server® offers organizations strong scalability; a single high end Voice Server® can handle up to 1,000 extensions and multiple server’s can be clustered for a high availability and redundant solutions.  Voice Server’s are highly configurable and offer several levels of configuration/programming.  Most configuration needs can be met via simple dial plans with more advanced requirements being managed via a number of application programming interfaces (API's) to extend functionality.

The Voice Server® is a fundamental building block in the formation of our real time collaboration and communications (RTCC) solutions, fully complies with the Enterprise 2.0 standards and is easily scaleable from 30 to 3,000 users. A supplementary range of hardware SIP IP handsets, PC software phones and other peripherals such as wireless devices are also provided for your specific voice termination needs.

Business communications today require flexibility. The LZT Voice Server® will improve your voice communications by keeping work groups connected allowing for a richer collaboration that will deliver improved efficiency and productivity.

A summary of the business benefits include:

  • Reduced telecommunications costs – new functionality allows greater choice of service providers including new generation ITSP’s
  • Open Source licensing does not require individual or per seat licenses as is the norm from proprietary vendors who generally cost by the user, creating a much lower entry point to IP telephony
  • Extend access and a consistent approach to communications to all employees whether they are working in their office, a remote office, traveling or at home
  • Employee productivity improvements with an ability to integrate your line of business applications.
  • Presence capability if integrated with either the LZT Instant Messaging Server® or the LZT Collaboration Server®
  • All users can now have a “single business number” (roaming) that they can be reached on
  • Open standards compliant
  • Scalability
